About the Artist
Roger's studio is located in a quiet country setting in Ohio, USA where he lives with his wife Sheila
and their dog Henry. As an enhancement to creativity, he values the serenity of the forest and fields
that surround his studio and home.
At an early age, Roger demonstrated remarkable talent with his artistry. Encouragement from his
parents, teachers, and his innate desire to develop his natural creativeness, inspired him to pursue
art not only as a profession, but as a way of life.
Some of his award winning works of art are in the collection at the Riviera Club in Las Vegas. Other
collectors include The Mead Corporation, Tupperware World Headquarters, Nutter Enterprises, and
Discoveries Magazine as well as many banks, libraries, hospitals, and universities throughout the
United States and the world. His recent commissions include a portrait for the owner of Orkin in Atlanta
Georgia. Included also in his portfolio is a portrait of the president of BMW.
Roger is a charter member of the Portrait Institute in New York.
"My work and pleasure is to bring out the best in my subjects. Each line, tone and color is used to
create an enduring work of art. I feel a strong connection to the great Artists of the past for their
ability to capture the essence of the subjects they portrayed".
