I am searching for the portrait of my 3x great grandmother Juliette Herckenrath, 1809-1856. Her portrait was painted by Nicolaas Pieneman. I would be very interested to gaze into her face. I would be grateful for any information or any ideas you might have to aid me in my search. Thanks so much,

Voor een nieuw boek van Annejet van der Zijl is Uitgeverij Querido ook op zoek naar informatie over dit schilderij door Nicolaas Pieneman. We hebben al contact opgenomen met Philip Weiss Auctions, maar zij zijn hun hele archief kwijtgeraakt tijdens Hurricane Sandy. Heeft u misschien nog andere informatie over waar dit portret nu kan zijn?
